I didn’t take the conventional highway to marketing, I took the scenic route. It started at age 12 when I packed my bags for Mayo College, one of India’s leading boarding schools. That was my first act of independence, and the stage which quite literally became my second home. Theatre gave me my voice, debates gave me the drive to defend ideas, and somewhere in between, I discovered the power of storytelling. Next came engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology. An unexpected detour for a storyteller, but one that trained me to think in systems, build frameworks, and embrace complexity. It gave me a backstage pass into how products work and how people interact with them. By the time I pursued my master’s in marketing at NYU, my foundation was rock solid. I’d lived the blend of art and analysis, of creativity and clarity. I dove deep into consumer behavior, branding, and GTM strategies. Writing content, building narratives, and obsessing over what makes someone stop scrolling and start caring became my second nature.
I never set out to build a niche in B2B Product Marketing, I stumbled into it. But somewhere along the way, I realized I could translate tech-speak into human-speak, craft messages that resonate, and create positioning that doesn’t just sound good—it drives action. Today, I help products find their place in people’s minds (and hearts), no matter how complex they are under the hood. I’m still a consumer buff, still a content junkie, still the theatre kid at heart who believes in the magic of a well-told story. Whether it's a SaaS tool or a stage monologue, my mission is the same: to connect, to inspire, and to make people feel something real. Because at the end of the day, B2B marketers are leaning towards B2C techniques and finding more creative ways to reach there audience, since at the core B2B is just human-to-human—and that’s where the magic happens.
